Frito-Lay is seeking a Local Driver to join our team, responsible for transporting and delivering our iconic snack products to local destinations. As a Local Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach grocery retailers, convenience stores, and distribution centers efficiently and safely. This position requires a commitment to safety, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport Frito-Lay products to local destinations safely and efficiently.
• Inspect your truck before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload trailers using carts or pallet jacks.
• Deliver products to grocery retailers and Frito-Lay Product Exchange Centers.
• Obtain a signature of receipt from the appropriate point of contact at each stop.
• Pick up and return unsold or damaged products as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork related to deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining positive customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding any delays or issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• At least 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Must pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening.
• Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
